if its a cossie yes whatever the base pressure was whenu turned it off.

All EFI cars should retain fuel pressure at turn off.

Probably find your one way valve is fucked (if its got the external bosch pump it screws in the outlet of the pump )

If left for long enough it will tend to drop over time.

Often if it drops quickly its an injector sticking partially open due to needing a clean or because its fualty.

Its quite surprising how many injectors end up not sealing properly, whip them off and blow through each one, it should not allow any air to pass when you do so.

How long does it take to go to zero?

strate away from when i turn the key of it drop to zero the gauge is under the engine bay

Hmmmmmmmm if the system is working ok it should retain a fairly good pressure, i know it drops a bit though
