My car through a ROD (in the sump)

Big hole in the side and the other side was all pushed put

Had too bash it back to get the sump off

Breakin her now, plenty of bits going!!

why break it you can get a another block for around Ł100 all day long

The shell needs loads off work its got a MOT comin up AND TAX

You just gotta know when too stop already pump over 1500 quid into it AND i'll NEVER get that back!!! So whats the point on spendin Another grand on it, when i could never sell it for 4k!!

What made it throw a rod?? Get it back together and bring it over ill have a lookski for ya, get it setup and make sure you wont be doing it again.

only when they get messed with do they cost silly money as any modded car does

 

Ł1500 is a drop in the ocean really mate when u look at what a lot of people spend!!! I've spent near on 10k on mine in 2 yrs but it's a hell of alot better than when i started!!! It's an old car that's always gonna cost u money to maintain, but imo worth every penny

 

I blow my engine at the beginning of the year and bought another block and rebuilt it then bought a near stge 3 head and done the whole lot at once! you will always feel like selling it when things go wrong, but its well worth it when you fix it and get it back on the road! Keep it!

Alot of people on here have spent quite a bit more than Ł1500(myself included)
Put a rod through the block of the track car the other week and totally destroyed the 1.9cvh Turbo. Was well fucked off at the time but fuck it though,onwards and upwards,was running 180bhp at the wheels,new engine on the way along with more power!
Fair doo's,wont be cheap but the end result=

 

I won't off fixed it if it weren't for all the RUST on the shell! Anyway bits have started movin!!!!

The more thats come off the more REASONS i find too SCRAP it!!

well starts at the front and ends at the back!!

The front need weldin, the wiper plate needs replacin, the pillar needs weldin, Roof fixin etc...... SO MUCH TOO DO!!!

Thats why i gave up!!

 

id like to say that mine has cost nearly 20k and it stil dont work, and yes i do mean twenty grand

 

Done it before, You just have too have a cut off point!!

End of the day the cars only wroth 4k MAX!!
