Bought it for GTR but never got round to fitting it and new car is dry sump so not needed. The Accumulator on its own is over £300 from Think Automotive and the valve is nearly another £200.

 

Excuse my ignorance Cam, but what does it do?

 

It holds oil under pressure so that say if you get oil surge/starvation or for any reason your oil pressure drops below a preset level the valve opens and keeps the pressure from going dangerously low. A warning light tells you that its deployed itself so no damage occurs thru oil starvation.
It also means when starting your engine you can pressurize the oil before the engine cranks over.

Unfortunately, not a bit of use to me, as i may be going the dry-sump route on the E30
