As above.

Plus how much does it cost to fill an RST up with optimax these days?

Reason i ask is i'm planning a 1200 mile trip to Scotland and back and need to make sure i can afford it

Not a lot!

Maybe about 200 - 250 between fill ups but on motorway, keeping the revs and boost low you might get more.

i get about 250 per tank with mixed driving, but motorway driving it uses less, if cruising at 75 ish, not accelarating all the time to hear the turbo, which i do many times

at constant 14.7:1 afr my high comp zetec turbo will do just over 260 miles with 43 quids worth of juice on a long cruise

i get a nice brown tinge on the tip of the exhaust so i know she is burning the fuel nicely

i have mapped it so it uses 14.7afr up to 3psi then moves over to 12.2 to a bar then 11.8 above that

so i can drive economically by keeping the boost below 5psi
