I,m running 220 B.H.P with no problems at all.I presume you mean C.T.S stage 1 boxes.Well worth the money,as soon as i went over 190 B.H.P my standard box shit it self all over the road.

in an article in either Fast Ford or Performance Ford a few months back it said a stage 1 box was good for 250 bhp

i've got a standard box in mine with 223 bhp and it's still going strong after 3 years
and i've done 9 track days in those 3 years as well as driving it hard everywhere else!!

my car shudnt hav more than 230bhp like so a shud be alrite
wot clutch are people using aswell as i need a new 1 of these aswell

(any1 wana swap my 1.8zvh in return for a cts box pm me)

i have no luck wotso ever then coz mine is 4yr old, the last owners didnt really drive the car fast-a combination of me and me mate has blown it in 3000 miles
after checking receipts a thikn it had only done 6-8k!!!!

do u give ur car a gud thrashing or not cause i spoke to bernie earlier and he said the stage 1 wont last on mine and i aint runnin more than 220 - 230

Funny you should say that ,fitted my stage 1 box and drove 200 miles and it welded itself together at 100m.p.h on the M6.Took it back to bernie and he rebuilt under warranty and no problems since.I do thrash it but not all the time.Used in conjuction with AP 4 PADDLE.

No .Was difficult use at the start,but carried out a MK 7 ESCORT clutch peddle conversion and it,s alot easier to use now
