What do people reccomend? whats involved? where from and how much?

Don't bother mate, they are just another toy that do fuck all. Just run the car out properly and drive gently the last few miles home. You can then spend the cash on something far more usefull, getting a hangover

i dont even use mine, cos of the alarm on the car, if i get out and lock the door and go in, because of the anti hijack, when it turns off the doors unlock so i sit and wait anyway,
I must admit i have fitted one in mine and i haven't started using the car again but it has struck me a little along the lines of......POINT??????
The anti hijack is a bitch, im going to turn mine off but at best all i can do is lock the doors from the remote and the immobiliser will arm after turn off.
Cheaper option, would be a bit of jigery pokery, and u could use your alarms output functions as a turbo timer.........and you will be able to arm and walk away.....

)Basically if you fit a turbo timer you alarm can't be fully set until the car has turned off. You can, lock the doors by remote and when it turns off the immobiliser will arm automatically, but no alarm.
They do have some useful functions. Ive got a HKS Type 1, was too cheap to say no. Does 0-60 times aswell, 2 stage RPM warning, shift light, speedo, stopwatch, voltage..........

ive heard you can do remote start with the AI606, but having no manual i dont know if its true, is it wireing, a plug in box or was someone yanking my chain
You can..........the way you have probably been informed of would be with a remote start kit which hooks into the alarm, ive got some drawings i did one night though when i had a brain wave, and i reckon i can make a remote start for less than a fivers worth of bits

I haven't tried the circuit out yet, im going to do it on my car but its very simple and may not work very well on cars that dont start positively.
