Default Style & Safety

Been considering this for some time, first safety as in brake setup etc, next body mods, tasteful, maybe slight engine tuning, nothing drastic. Now with the above one point that really annoys me, scuffs and dinks etc after you spent weeks getting your car to the finished article, I have developed some anti scuff strips ( own design ), these help prevent others opening there car doors and leaving nasty dinks on the new paintwork, I have also been playing with a " self made product " that is sprayed over front bumper and bonnet, you can drive a 100 miles to a show, just peel it off and no chips or splattered flys, now all this sounds, weird, crazy and " why do it, but note this is an idea and nothing more at present what I am looking for is input, views and opinions.

Dude thats a nifty idea, something to spray on and then peel off when you want to show your motor. Any more details about your idea? Or is it all abit hush-hush for now

I used this some years ago, a friend did not want to put a dust cover over his stored e-type jag, so told him what i was playing with and to cut a long story short, just covered his car and 3 yrs on, we peeled it off this morning, the car was perfect.
