Anyone had any problems with Tiscali, I'm just looking through different broadband providers and these seem to off the best deal for what i want but if they're poo i'll leave them alone?

If I'm paying 15 quid a month to Tiscali and they say that covers all internet charges, do BT still charge me for calls for the time I'm using the net or will they just charge me for actual telephone calls??

 

Havent had a problem with Tiscali. BT will only charge you for phone calls

 

Have been with Tiscali for a few years now. Up to a month ago i'd have said the same as people above but for the last month i've not had a download speed greater than 30k & usually it's between 10k & 20k, i'm on a 2MB connection btw!!!!

If you read the ISP forums on www.adslguide.org you'll find lots of people with similar problems to myself. The general feeling seems to be that as long as nothing goes wrong then Tiscali are great, as soon as there's a problem you're fxxxed!!

This thread has actually reminded me to request the MAC code from them today so I can change ISP lol

Any more views on Tiscali, I ordered a 2meg connection last thursday and I'm hoping to get my modem soon, how long will i have to wait???

 

max 10 days wait.

 

I'm waiting for them to change the phone number i access the net from, 10 working days they say, its the tenth day today so we will see if its been sorted when i get home, fingers crossed

 

i've been on tiscali a few months now and everything is fine
