Might sound a silly question but just wondered, does it do any kind of damage if you hit the rev limiter often cus i was giving the 3dr some today and i hit 2, 3 times, you do it without really noticing, dont do it all the time, just wondered if it caused any kind of damage...

 

I asked this before and was told as long as you don't do it all the time it'll be ok.

I used to hit the limiter a fair bit on my old 3DR Pete............SO easy with the conversion you have

Wait till you hit it in 5th .................. 168mph anyone

 

Tiff, thats the trouble, like i said your there before you know it, fooking good though hitting it in fifth.........

isnt suppose to do any damage but i still try and avoid it..

how many cossie engines have you seen with valve marks on the pistons...

not big enough to worry about but this only happens at the rev limiter...
