Default Recommended tuner with RR

Ok, I want to get my car set up properly with the water injection ready for the summer. Id prefer to have it RR'd too so I know exactly what its making.

Anyone recommend a good place near (ish) to Sheffield?? I need a good place I can trust to do the job properly and not one thats going to take my car for a thrashing round the block on a ''road test''.

Cheers, Rich.

MSD is in Blackpool right?? Maybe a bit far really, around 2 hours away.

Yeah mines been to Well Lane before, so might be better to take it back there if they know the car. Only thing is I wanted to take it somewhere else as a few people have said their rollers over read?? Mine made 322bhp there, before water injection, and some say this might be 20bhp out?? I cant see it being that far out to be honest.

Anyone else heard this about Well Lanes rollers?

John Noble in Chesterfield's always had a good reputation (out of 4 places I took my 205 Rallye to, John's the only one who sorted out a carburation problem the car had from new).

Yeah thats another one on the shortlist. Not too sure on his experience with the Cosworths though. i know they know their stuff and are in to motorsport but Id prefer someone who sees cosworths day in day out. Ill give them a ring in the morning actually, see what they say.

Cheers.

Yeah still going mate, although they seem to be more into scoobys now rather than RS's.

just had a quick look at well lanes web site,no fords any more, but they are still banging on about good service, which is nice but have just spotted the price of mot's Ł25 plus a free retest within 14 days. thats cheep,my local garage charged Ł25 last year now they are Ł40,a couple of weeks ago the mrs sri vectra failed and after it was retested they charged her another Ł40. thats Ł80 in total so Well lanes worth going for mot's if your in the vicinity

Think im going to book it in at John Noble. Only just round the corner. Around Ł70 per hour on rolling road full set up and check over.

Does this sound like a fair price. Havnt had a car on the rolling road tuned for a few years now.

Ł70 sounds about right, IIRC this hasn't changed much from before they moved!
