right then chaps am changing the engine and gearbox in my frst this week to a freshly rebuilt engine and a escort lsd gearbox

the only bit am stuck on is how do you do the gearbox oil and does it have like a dipstick to check the level or doesit just want to be full :S am unsure about this but want to learn

 

ave found out how now ppl and its quite simple really theres a hex key in the front of the box and what you do is remove this hex bolt and dip an l shaped piece of metal through the hole and make sure that the oil is roughly 5mm below this point in the box once the car is on level ground and etc dead simple


right tomoro i'll go and empty the engine bay hopefully degrease and jet wash it all out and fix any rust i find whilst on with it all lol
