Default One for the techies!!!

Having problems with my frst. built it back up last weekend, started it up last night and it runs great one minute then rubbish the next!

It sounds like the fuel isn't getting through, but then it does the next minute?

Could it be the fuels regulator or maybe a loose wire??

It's not been moved for 11 months could it be just sh*t in the tank???

Any help appreitiated???
Cheers
Darren

I wouldn't mess about with the fueling. Could be the idle speed controler or the crank position sensor does the car smoke when driving?

With regards to the fuel, petrol seperates after a couple of months so if its been stood for a long time you could have crap in the fuel lines and the filter

Thanks lads,

Have put a jerry cans worth of new petrol but might have to put some more in?

No the car does'nt smoke when driving, it also gets a bit better when the car warms up????

All i did was take the fuel pipe off to see if it was pumping to the injectors, your right don't want to mess with fueling.

I'll check these out tonight thanks lads, will keep you updated!!
