Default My new car

Hi people.

finally bought my first rs on saturday and have been grinning ever since.

want to do loads of stuff to it already, it came with poly bushes so i think my first task is to get them fitted.
oh yeah and it has already shown its first niggly problem. it has stalled a few times when i dip the clutch in just before i stop. i am hoping its just an air leak somewhere. any ideas?

I have a few photos (hope they work)

it has a bit of rust on the bootlid i want to get sorted out.
i want to get it on a rolling road just to check if its all running ok as well

I would give it a good scrub then get it hooked up to a machine to check all the electronic components are working fine then tune it, these fiesta go through Co pots and TPS quite often this could causing the stalling problem.

Looks nice but needs a bloody good clean and polish. Get yourself some nice Mk3.5 mirrors on ther ethey update it no end and don't look like boy racer mirrors.

Yeah i am a bit gutted but it still hasn't put me off.

No mate wasn't me in southend.

just been down the scrap yard to look for a new bootlid, i thought the mk3.5 ones were the same but found they are slightly different. its going to be harder to find a good mk3 one i expect.

cheers for the comments people.

The boot will fit mate the only difference with them is at the bottom of the 3.5 they have'nt got the reses in line with the bottom of the rear clusters.

If you can fit a mk4/5 rear lid to a mk3 a 3.5 will go on no probs and as for the mirrors you just need to cut a bit of metal away to fit 3.5 mirrors but they look the nuts when on.
