Default I'm thinking of getting a Ka

As my car has such high running costs I'm thinking of getting a Ka as a cheap runabout. What I'd like to know is if they have any common problems/faults that I should be aware of. Also what sort of mileage per gallon do people get from theirs?

Thanks in advance.

No running problems as far as I'm aware, mate of mine has had his for 4 1/2 years and never had a problem. Only thing is the obvious that it's small and only 4 seater.

Engines are nigh on bomb proof [as 10's of thousands of Anglia drivers would agree if they were still alive ]

They've started to do the Ford rotting thing now check sills and anywhere panels meet

engines are very good cus they are chain driven, as said before check for rust around the bottoms of doors and tailgate, A pillar, and where the door meets the rear quarter, also around the boot area. good luck !
