ok, on low throttle openings the car is goin lean.
now, what mechanical things can cause this? it idles happily, but as soon as i apply throttle it shoots to mega-lean... lol
anything above about 50% throttle seems fine.
i just wanna check if theres anything mechanical that could cause this?
i THINK it's mapping, as the Thtottle stop was altered, and the TPS re-calibrated so i think it's possible that my TPS sites in the map aren't what they should be... im gonna check this later (reset it back more or less how it was and re-calibrate again) but just wanted to get some thoughts.

stu, cam timing is ok. its been checked about 4 times and ive seen it myself, its deffo bang on.
gareth, yes its TPS vs RPM
idle is perfect at about 1k, touch the throttle a tiny bit and hit loadsite1 and it goes megalean and tries to stall

I would say as you are running alpha n that your TPS calibration is going to be very critical as to how the map will run.
Other thing could be an inlet manifold leak. That would have the eefect if it occured after you mapped it. Have you had it off whilst changing anything?

it seems so seal ok tho. even put some sealant around the no1 hole just incase (thats the one on mine that is never tooo healthy.
it goes down straight and the only movement in it is about 1mm side to side where the bolt holes are wider than the bolts (ie moving inside the bolt holes)

ok reset the throttle pot back to how it was (luckily, i had an old map saved, and i could work out from that what the exact voltage was on it before) and it runs MUCH better.
it's still a litle bit lean on some low throttle openings, ocasionally going as high as about 17, but i think thats just down to the mapping (im still on a base map by the way) i'm happy to leave it till dave walker sees it on monday
