Chip is easy enough to remove though, just change the ECU, shame about the suspension and side stripes, easily put back though.

i was told that all the d reg fords were a lot worse for rust, i know there not the best anyways....

mines actually got hardly none , but still there is some

the next car wont have any though and summers almost here

Yea they can tend to be, think its all dependant on their history. The late D's + were a lot better though, thats when they started fitting inner arches on the front.

I've got a MK3 cabby and its never seen a welder. Had a few prangs though

Whats the new car then?

the new car will probably be a lexarse sports is200

or a 328i beamer maybe not as quick as my turbo, but im prepared to suffer the smoth silent ride quality

Late D and early E reg cars were the worst, all others seem to be able to fend it off to a degree

i heard fords had a strike on the d plate and the metal was left sitting around, dont know how true it is though

Winning bid was £8600,alot of money IMO,especially as you could get F99 FUS(the black concours one for sale) for £7500
