Seen this in general...nice car, shame it's been chipped, and those side strips

 

im sure those strips wud come off ok, i mean 4800 miles!!! that is silly.

Got to get at least 10k for it...

shame it's been chipped etc as said, koni's have to come off aswell

 

whoever pays 10k for it is a fool, yes its worth a bit but not that

 

Chip is easy enough to remove though, just change the ECU, shame about the suspension and side stripes, easily put back though.

Standard feature through out the range im led to believe, not an expensive optional extra

 

i was told that all the d reg fords were a lot worse for rust, i know there not the best anyways....

Yea they can tend to be, think its all dependant on their history. The late D's + were a lot better though, thats when they started fitting inner arches on the front.

I've got a MK3 cabby and its never seen a welder. Had a few prangs though

or a 328i beamer maybe not as quick as my turbo, but im prepared to suffer the smoth silent ride quality

 

You won't last long before you come crawling back to the almighty turbo lag

 

Late D and early E reg cars were the worst, all others seem to be able to fend it off to a degree

 

i heard fords had a strike on the d plate and the metal was left sitting around, dont know how true it is though

 

 

why on earth would anyone miss turbo lag ??

if anything i thought the idea was to reduce it ????

 

You know you love it when the turbo spools up and throws you back

 

Winning bid was £8600,alot of money IMO,especially as you could get F99 FUS(the black concours one for sale) for £7500
