Default urgent help pls guys!!!

guys im stuck, just changed my upper grille on my 04 plate focus for new one, put all screws back where i found them pushed the bonnet down to lock and click! it locks it just dont unlock anymore!!!!! then i found a little screw, now i remember that i think this one came from the top of the bonnet lock. now im confused on how ford wiould have a little screw working the lock!!!!!

i have a foci that i can open the bonnet. the lock is not moving!!!

any ideas!!!

You sure you havn't trapped a tool or something on the slam panel thus putting pressure on the bonnet forcing it against the lock? Try pushing down slightly around the lock area on the bonnet and try the lock at the same time.

still dont unlock even with my fat bum leaning on it.... the actual lock dont move .... and all tools accounted for...

Can your remove the grill with the bonnet shut to access the lock?

no mate, the grille is held on behind the grille itself and you need the boeent open to reach this places, its made of metal so cant even think of a way around it.

good news!!!!! me dad fixed it!!!! simple when i thought about. ..

the thickness of the powder coated steel didnt let the key go fully into the lock...

method - lean on grille
result key went in far enough and hey presto lock unlocked!!!!

is the screw a little philps it gose at the top of the bonnet lock should hold grille if all else fails you can undo yours rads on tnhe black rail an then undo the 2 ten mills that hold your lock on then look y your bonnet wont open
