I am currently rebuilding my bottom end and am trying to fit a new rear seal
If i put it in before tightening the rear mains cap it gets pushed out on tightening!
How do you fit it once the crank is in?
Cheers Spadge...

i fitted mine after the mains were fitted, just slides over the crank and then i tapped it gently but firmly ( if you get what i mean
) whilst continuously moving around the circumference of it ( so you don't push one side in too much at a time)

The plastic sheild is there to stop the inside of the sheild catching the crank, you place it over the crank end and slide the seal in, then remove the plastic jobby, and tap it home with either the old seal, or somin soft.
The
