Does anyone know anything about the Jag XK8 Coupe?

Year of manufacture...1998
Model........................XK8 COUPE AUTO
Engine size(CC).........3996
Just someone that has just started working with us has bought one and I wondered what the spec's of these are?
According to the parker's guide Running costs need a film star's salary
didnt think they paid that much here

The liners thing is the good old Nikasil Bores Problem. That particular car is right in the firing line. To be sure, get a leakdown test to check condition.
Also look at the XK8 v Porsche Boxter article on General Discussion. I put a brief description of the problem there
Doesnt necessarily mean that all cars are affected though!
