another 4x4/2wd cossie question regarding rear end

Default another 4x4/2wd cossie question regarding rear end

after the crash im planning to build my 3 door project and if i was to use my rear beam and diff(4x4) will i be able to use 2wd driveshafts and 2wd prop as i want the 3 door as 2wd

oh forgot to say i will be using 3 door rear arms and rear arb

no the 2wd shaft will not fit the 4x4 diff if you use the 2wd gear box and 2wd prop that will be fine use the 4x4 shaft job done

thinking about it i knew it wouldnt fit as someone told me that before but i was also told that 4x4 shafts are to skinny and weak for a 2wd

Just get a 2wd rear beam and diff mate
There is no point using the 7" 4x4 one!

cossiecrewno the 4x4 are not better but the conversion you are doing is just fine but as said above 2wd complete back end job done no messing around

mark just fit a 2wd diff ect ull be breakin cv joints ect if u dont , if ur guna build the 3door up then do it right i tight twat
