I noticed a bit of oily shit in my header tank(not overheating or any mayo but odd bit of whiteish smoke) this morning so i took it to my m8s garage and put a carbon dioxide tester on the header tank and it turned green straight away.What utter bullshit the cars like, not even 2 mths in my possesion.
At least i found it before I took it to combe in a couple of weeks .

So help please, whats the head gasket to get,are ARP bolts worth it and has anyone got a gassflowed head is that also worth doing while its off?
Any help/views would be really usefull. cheers.(st3 cossie buy the way)

 

Just spoke to a guy at cylinder head developments and hes says he can gas flow, fit me new valve guides and bd10s and carrige either way for just shy of £900. Anyone had that done or got those cams? any good?

My headgasket went last week

Renewed with a GrpA and ARPs.

Only done 30mile and it caught fire

The lowest figure my car has made is 339bhp that was only at 1.4bar.

Mine has a ported head, stanard cams, greens, T34, RS500 intercooler.

Goes nice.
