2WD and 4x4 Rads,are they the same ????????
if you run a 500 intercoller then you can use which ever one
my 4wd on got bust so borrowed my mates 2wd to get me out the crap alls i had to do was drill a couple of holes for spring clips as the 4wd has a l shaped pipe that bolts onto the rad
but they will fit the same and pipe up correct
the top is only different due to intercoolers

I,ve bought a Rad of Fleabay and didn,t check which cossie it was for
Its a Radtec one and i,m sure they only list one type for the Cossie but i,m not sure. I guess i,ll just have to wait and see what it looks like. It may get thrown on my "bought it off Ebay but not what i thought it was " pile
I borrowed the one from my escos project when my saff 2wd one started leaking, it fitted perfectly
not so sure about the lip on the top, i've got an rs500 i/c, so don't have to worry about it!

Hmmm..........this thread is dear to my heart.......
I've had the Radtec and Pro-Alloy rads on a 2wd Cossie - turns out if you have a 4x4 i/c on a 2wd car ( can't comment on the 4x4 ) neither will fit "out the box" as the top of the rad butts up to the bottom of the cooler.
You need to replicate the top of the std 4x4 rad to make them fit.
All I can say is that the Pro-alloy one involves less cutting.
As has also been said, if you've got a 500-type i/c and are using the spare set of rad mounting holes you won't have to mod either the Radtec one or Pro-Alloy type at all.
As a footnote - anyone know if you can get alloy rads repaired if one of the cooling fins is fractured?
