To get it done right you would be looking at about 4K and thats just for the bits

 

on www.rs2000-16v.com there is a post on hows its done and the car in question is in both FF and PF mags

 

msd might be the people too talk too,,, im sure kkenny got a rs2000 turbo

If your car is mint and you love it enough then you'd pay 4k without even thinking

 

Was thinking this myself.

But its all down to how much you want to keep the motor.

I wanted to turbo mine, but the work that will go into and cost, you wouldnt get close to back when you sell it.

 

Surely this is irrelevant? It's the same for any car no matter what it is!

 

Not dissing the guy if he really want to turbo his car

just seems a lot of money to spend when he could get more power and speed out of a cossie and still have change

There is shit loads of cossies about. How many 300BHP Mk6 Escorts do you see? Not many..I'd much rather Zetec Turbo my car and have a proper sleeper than waste money on a taxi..

The 2.3 turbo is fookin rapid but for the money he spent i reckon you could have a cossie close to 400-450hp

 

Cossies have been called taxis in the past even by their owners
