hi i just bought an frp and i had problems with it idleing to high and some times cutting out, i changed the throttle postion switch and the idle control valve but the prob didnt go. disconected the battery and reconnected and the fault of over reving went, but it is still sometimes not idleing right when pulling up to a junction and cutting out, it also sometimes doesnt give me full power when i put my foot down untill i hit about 4 grand then it pulls, and sometimes it gives full power straight away,

the only thing i havent changed is the lambna sensor? shall i have it diagnostic checked or just buy a lambna sensor????

Probably lamda sensor, but get it checked at Pumabuild as some FRP's had a wiring fault in the TPS wiring and many were repaired under warranty when new, so worth getting it checked properly.

Also is your fuel economy down??

 

yeah i think, ive only had the car 1 week and i think the fault was there when i bought it but i couldnt tell because it was idleing too high

 

Had my TPS and HEGO replaced when mine was having similar problems - drives like a dream now!
