I may well be wrong but I was under the illusion there were something like 10 or 11 'L' plated Saff's, all white and all went to the Police..........sold on by them long ago if this is true so could well be in private hands by now..............

Staffs had one as a covert camera car,used to see it mooching up and down the M6....
Got followed by it in my cossie once,but left me alone to go and chase 2 chavs in a golf gti....

There where 12250 4x4 saffs made and a few of them where registered on a L reg most where left over stock that have been in a field or compound for a year or so before sold
no diffrent from any other saff or newer just registerd at a later date
there was a L reg 4x4 saff in white for sale a few years back in swindon was a dog and only up for sale at 4k
