Default Today. I found the perfect loom wrapping material!

And it was cheap as chips, £2.50 a meter!

Its fish pond rubber pipe, we slit it down one side, and pressed the loom into it. I'll get some pics in an hour, deffo worth the money, and makes the engine bay look tidy and mint

Really not too sure about that. But my loom run's well away from the engine and any intense heat sources.

I'll pop a peice in the oven and see when it starts going soft and on fire

http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.c.../sleeving.html

Between 45p and £1.15 per metre for convoluted here.
I also like the look of the braided sleeving in a tidy engine bay.

I also know a guy who did this years ago with good result.

His dad went batshit though, and reclaimed it for the Koi Pond.

Its great if you're not taking plugs off, which would seriously hinder the fitting of the pectal braided stuff.

Its got all the properties i'm after, it stays flexible, even with the slit down the side, and when you twist it, the slit stays inline on the both halves keeping the seal.

To hold it to the body work, my mate suggested just putting a self tapper and washer through it into the metal behind to hold it solid to the contour of the bay.

Also looks quite professional, as if its meant for that job. My loom looks brand new, and i'm dead chuffed Not bad what you can do for under a tenner

I hate to burst your bubble, but if you go into a electrical wholesaler and ask for Adaptaflex you'll get the same stuff for about 60c a meter (about 40p in sterling)

I know its readily available online. But i hate buying online

None of the shops round here have it, and another thing i found with the larger size conduit, is that it kinks up in tight bends and ultimately looks shit lol

I'm dead chuffed with the stuff i got now anyway, its glossy + shiney, clean, bends well, can screw it to the panels, etc

Cheers for the info though
