As of the weekend I'll be starting the car for the first time after its rebuild and running it in.
The engine has had a bottom end rebuild, rebuilt T3, new stage 2 head and a new cvh34 cam kit.
I was just wondering what methods other people have used as I have read that many confilcting posts on the matter today I'm unsure. I know to use cheap-o mineral oil at first but is this changed to fully synth after the engine is upto temp, before it is driven?
Will running the engine at 2.5k on initial start up to bed the cam not do any damage to the bottom end?
Thanks in advance for any advice given..
