Default Oil Recommendation

Morning all,

What oil would you recommend I put in the S2? The engine is as the day it left the factory, bar a full mongoose exhaust.

I usually use Mobil 1 Motorsport tbh! But going to collect a few bits from my local Ford dealership tomorrow and was just going to go for some Ford recommended stuff as i'll get the filter from there too.

what you reckon?

John, that's what I usually go for, just though't i'd skimp it a bit and get some cheaper stuff this time as

1] I'm buying a new battery, the rest of the service items and MK5 pedal conversion parts.

and

2] I'm having a new engine built anyway so not too worried what I use for now, but I suppose it makes sense to stick with what I normally use...

Best go visit Halfrauds at lunch

Have posted before, but my original engine - which was still functioning very well (not sure how ) at over 176'000 miles had it's oil changed with Mobil 1 at first before Motorsport was available and then Motorsport approximately every 6'000 miles or less

I wont use anything else in the new engine stick with what i know
