are the si fiesta mounts the same as a mk2 fiesta cos i only really want the car so i can mount the engine in mine without having to buy mounts

 

MMMM.... Fiesta Si is a zetec engine mate as u know I have been told the CVH turbo mounts fit on the zetecs with a little work.

1.6 Zetec engine is shit as well why do u think I swoped mine when it went pop lol.

 

Yes it's possible but don't botehr with the 1600 Zetec from th eSi as it's shite. Far better off going fo rth e1800 unit or even the 2litre

 

ive got the 1.8 zetec engine at home, just wanted all the loom and the mounts from the fiesta, just need to know if the mk3 Mreg uses the same mounts that i will need

 

Yeah they fit the 1800 engine but I dont know if they will fit the mk2 mate if u get the si could we come to some arrangement on parts inside the car u dont need.
Have u had a look on zetecinside.com hes done it to a mk1 so it could have some tips.

 

yeah mate, people keep saying mod a cvh mount to fit, but the mk3 having a zetec in a fiest leads me to believe that itll go into my mk2, especially because that the gearboxes bolt right up

you nedd to get the cvh engine mount modified so it bolts to the zetec block mate, i did one for myself and done a couple for other people so if you need it doing them drop me a PM and i can sort you one.

as for the wiring and stuff, i did a wiring guide and posted it on xrtwo.com, its in the FAQ section. theres another chap called ben whose done a guide for the 2.0 conversion. its all really straight forward though. gimmia shout if you want any help.
