Default Trip to Gatebil 2006 with Fast Ford

Ever wanted to go to Gatebil?

Here’s your chance to take your Ford (or Vauxhall-powered Mini if your name’s Chip) over to the legendary track-based performance festival and non-stop 3-day party at Rudskogen in Norway, where all the crazy Scandinavians bring their monster hp cars – Cossies, Mustangs, Skyliners, Imprezas, 800 bhp Volvos… you name it!

Trip runs from Thursday, July 13th to Wednesday, July 19th

We’ve arranged a discounted travel package with a tour company. Prices are as follows:
On-site camping: £379 per person based on 2 people sharing a car

Hotel: £749 per person based on 2 people sharing a car

Both include return ferry with overnight cabin from Newcastle to Gothenburg (approx 2 hours from Rudskogen)
24-hour festival entry ticket
On-site camping, or hotel with 5 nights accommodation

You won’t be able to understand a word, but for a general idea of what the show’s about, go to www.gatebil.no and click on ‘Gatebil Treff’. It’s a bit like the Nurburgring – one of those places you have to go to at least once in yer life.

To book call CCT on 01304 380244 or email enquiries@continentalcartours.co.uk

They need a deposit of £100 per person.

For more details, look in Fast Ford.

Cheers,

Si

Hope so, because Norwegian-to-English dictionaries are thin on the ground round here!

Eh? The July event is at Rudskogen Motorsenter. From Gothenburg, it's straight up the motorway/main road to Sarpsborg. Go to Kristiansand and you've got to drive all along the coast then up and over - that'd take you 10 hours!

oh sorry mate
thought it was ruNdskogen mate
see you there its an hours drive for me
even if you got off the ferry there mate in norway you could save 6 hours anyway(the sailing time ) as there is a ferry that goes across from horton across to moss
so up from kristiansand up to horton and half hours ferry across and your in moss very close to the stadium
