Default Help needed!!!

Hi peeps,

After some help!!!

My FRST is in the garage getting engine work done, quite a list to roll off.
BUT the guy has rang me and said that he can't put the head back on until the radiator is in and he's struggling to get hold of a radiator???

He said that he's finding it hard to locate a radiator??? Think he's taking SH*T!!! But i may be wrong?

So wondering who, what and where I could purchase a new radiator, not arsed if it's normal or aftermarket???

Need it asap as the car needs to be on the road and running next week.

Thanks for you time
Darren

Cheers,

What makes me think is that he said it like you couldn't buy a new radiator for a FRST!! Total B*ll*cks!!

Not to bothered about buying alloy one second hand as long as it's in good condition!

I think a new standard one's around £60-80??

to be honest with you mate hes kinda right you cant find a new one. Some Ford dealers i rang had em for £210+vat and a mates motorfactor was doing me one for £140 i think it was.

You can get an alloy (uprated one) all day long but there expensive. I just ended up getting mine recored for £85

If you are looking for a new standard one ring around mate and heres Ians one for you if your looking for an uprated one, i reckong thats a good price:

I'm sure our local Ford has them in stock. As my bro was quoted £200 or so only a couple of months ago. Why not get your re cored?

Puzzled why the rad not being there makes it impossible to put the head on. I certainly didn't take the head off to remove the rad

I think that he's thinking in the way that it will be easier to fit the rad while the engines' apart???
