hey guys im looking 2 get my petrol filler cap sorted soon has anyone had the filler cap replacement panel fitted and how much did it cost roughly?cheers...

 

i got the panel from ebay and got it fitted for a fiver, but that was a mate who works at a body shop who did it.

u might be looking at about 20-30 quid? they have to be carful cos of the tank pipe and not to set it all alight!!

 

i thought u had 2 cut out the old rusty bit out and weld the new panel in place then get it sprayed etc!£20-£30 sounds a bit cheap 2 me i was thinking it would be alot more than that

 

I had mine on a xr2i done, all cut out and replaced then side of car painted as was mercury grey cost about £200, but was a good job.

mine goes in on the 10th of next month original price quoted was £200 but ive added a few bits since then, panel cost £11.00ish off ebay quick delievery aswell
