Default what boost is a std frs

reason i ask is that i have just bought myself a frs

mods that i know off is it has a miltek cat on it and miltek exh system
with a k+n filter and magnecor leads which were all done at pumaspeed

my car boosts at 1 bar and feels very quick

i presume the car has been chipped so thats the reason i am asking what boost figure is a std frs

Does it go into the red on the gauge?

If it does its been chipped/blufinned (but then you would have the unit).

just before the red

ive just got it from a trader so he dosent know

not bothered if its not as its quick enough

just whould like too know just incase i have too take it into ford for anything under warranty

i know if its been bluefinned i should have the module but the previous owner may have kept it

i will just take it as its not chipped just strange for a not chipped car too hit 1 bar off boost
any idea what a std frs whould hit on the boost gauge

Not sure mate as my'n is bluefinned. You will know if its chipped tho as it pulls so much better and goes right into the red on the gauge. If it's not chipp it. Best thing you can do.

I said id leave my'n as it is but im just about to go into the 300bhp

Im sure someone will tell you shortly.

Rhys

Mine peaks at just under 1 bar, and holds around .8 bar I reckon. Was totallytstd when I bought it 6 weeks ago, now has decat Mongoose on and K&N ind. kit and feels like its been chipped!
Unbeliveable difference!

A standard FRS should boost at 0.9 bar and with bluefin this increases to 1.3 bar.
