Fuel pressure question...
Does the fuel pressure stay the same even if the engine has just been started, (ie cold start) or should the reading be taken on a warm engine?
errrr dunno mate lol
its a standard ERST fuel pump with EFi management if that helps...
I plumbed in my fuel pressure gauge and its reading just over 4 bar but it needs to be 2.5 - 3 bar but I didn't want to adjust it down without knowing if it might have been 4 just for cold start etc

warm/cold should make no difference. its done on vacuum on the regulator thats all. if its 4bar then it way too high!
can i confirm that you're deffo talking about EFI not MFI/KE-JET (as that works differently pressure-wise)

yep EFi mate...
I'll go knock it down to standard then, cheers Jim
Sounds like someone has tweaked the fuel pressure like Stu said not to do when it was all in the Fiesta lol

sorry for the late reply I've been at work
Well AFAIK the gauge is reading right, its brand new...
I'm taking the reading before the regulator
Tony no worries mate lol
