Default Webber Twin DCNF 40's

Seen a set of Webber twin DCNF downdraught carbs for sale to run on a 1600 leanburn CVH, with a 35tho skim, flowed head but standard cam and exhaust manifold, will these run ok, what else would i need to complete them and how much extra power would i be looking at say about 15hp also are they ok for realiabilty. Seb you would also need a fuel pump and a regulator

from what i've heard of these, they need to be set up regularly in order to run properly. idling can also been a pain in the bum. and will keep stalling....especially in stop go traffic in the morning.

Yeah what a facet fuel pump also how would i go about getting a fuel pressure accumulator, would it be a after market one or one of a XR2i or something, and how hard to wire in.

Right anyone shed any more light on the idiling problem are the DCOE's much better or not Cheers Guys

It would be an after market pressure regulator and yes a facet pump, not hard to wire up mines only 2 wires which you could either wire to the ignition or fit a seperate switch.

Still got my setup sat in the box havnt got round to fitting them yet, i'm not bad mate just relaxing at home full of this flu thats going around

yeah i just got ride of that flu bit of a nightmare, u got DCNF or DCOE's

Whats best just look out for a facet fuel pump and pressure accumulator on ebay yeah. and about the running problems can anyone shed anymore light cheers BAZ since it would be on a road car i don't want it running too bad.

I've got DCNF's as the others can be a bit tight in the engine bay. As long as they are set up right you shouldn't get much running problems. You could try ebay or the sales sections on some forums
