Default Women Only insurers?

This is really winding me up now. Not because they get cheaper insurance than blokes, because they get fucked over on price when they buy a car anyway

But seriously, all this sexism charges that women are bringing against blokes, Why is a 'women only' insurers allowed?!

It has to be violating some sort of law somewhere?!

if you sue sheilas wheels snowy, i'll sue yorkie

seriously though, there are some only male insurers eg ''bad boy insurance'' which is part of the hsbc group...which has a female counterpart ladybird insurance...who I was with last year.

heh...always the way eh? each way will moan about unfairness on the other side, Id never say ''I hate the yorkie adverts, but its good we get our own insurance companies''

I found last year the womens only was much cheaper for me, but I'm with tescos this year...sheilas wheels being 140 more expensive, and they wanted £250 excess to give me ''£300 handbag cover''...I don't generally use a handbag, that's what pockets were invented for....and even if I did I wouldn't leave the fooker in the car to get nicked

I remember a documentary about robbery and muggings and they surveyed the contents of several thousand handbags and found the value of the contents and bag to average £700!!!

No wonder they are easy targets for thiefs. They'd have to spend 5 minutes turning out your pockets to get anywhere near that, and nick your clothes!!

And my missus. Think they're a con, playing on the fact that women will remember them for being 'females only' insurance and they think they'll get a better deal. In reality, it's prob the same company a man can ring, only they'll be called something different.

sheilas wheels is actually "esure" and Diamond are 'Admiral' so they are not really women only are they.

Companys use this sort of marketing though because it works on consumers little tiny brains simple as...

They get away with it because, 'statistically' women do have less claims than men. Its not sexism if 'facts' are involved.

However we all know that its actually the women that have the most accidents, and there on their blokes poilcy as named drivers, so its the bloke that suffers for it, and is the person claiming.

We all know that men are better drivers obviously.

And the cover is crap!.

My sis went with Diamond a couple of years ago (part of the Admiral group along with Elephant, none of them are worth a wet wank).

The grief she had when somebody ran into her was untrue. Diamond wouldn't authorise the replacement exhaust as it was worn (it was 6 months old as my bro and I fitted it). They then tried to charge her £300 for a new exhaust and said they couldn't release the car without an exhaust as it wasn't legal. Several phone calls to Diamond later (who washed their hands and said they couldn't do anything.

Its not discrimination as there are facts to support why they'll only cover women, as said in my other post above.

Its all a con playing on the women are safers drivers shpeil,

For example.....

My mother got a quote thru diamond thinking ladies specialist = cheap insurance. ok so quoted 320 quid on her fiesta.

She added me to the policy and it dropped the price to 270 quid.

Nuff Said i think.
