Right, got tugged last night doing 75.3mph in a 60. standard 3 points and Ł60 fine. only just got me liencence back clean

They sat me in the car and read me my rights bout the speeding then tell me they were waiting for me?? I asked why and they said there had been a complaint made. They didn’t want to elaborate but I persisted!!!

On Wednesday morning had a disagreement with some twat in a laguna, basically he overtook me on a bend and I let him know I didn’t like it. He DID overtake me, cos I slowed down goin round the bend and let him in front of me. He was completely turned round in his seat pointing at his fone and dialing then gets out a pad and pen and writes my reg number down, all the time im just giving him the finger and shrugging me shoulders. This goes on for quarter of a mile or so till the end of the road, where he turned left, I turned right went to work and forgot bout it.

Back to the filth……

So the cops are waiting for me on the strength of his complaint, but the guy lied!! Said I DIDN’T let him overtake me and I was giving him the finger from the back of my car!!!!!

Cops also said they were going to try and overtake me and I quote “just to see if I got angry and aggressive at them” fucking checky bastuards!!!!!
Cop then goes on to tell me it is safe to over take on a 90 degree bend at 60 mph cos you can see???? I said but how can you perform a safe overtaking manouver looking out the drivers side window?? Cant look in front and to the side?? They didn’t answer!!!!

Anyway gets back in the car and goes straight down the copshop up the road. Basically wanting to know the procedure for a complaint like this. Cop tells me that if thay had my reg they should of come round me house to ask bout the incident, if they didn’t have the reg they can wait for me where they think ill be driving past to tug me.

Either way they should of enquired about the incident but they didn’t, I really had to dig to get them to even admit it was the laguna Wednesday morn!! Plus why didn’t they just pull me when they saw me?? Don’t care what anyone says id say over 50% of people in a quickish car would drive at 70mph on an open country road in the dry and daylight. Fuck me I would in the battlebus!! (my knockabout mondeo 1.8 estate)

Im going to be writing to the chief of the traffic cops to complain about the pulling over cos I don’t think they were justified in waiting for me. I ask the cop at the station last night if he would go wait for someone on one complaint and his response was , we get hundreds of complaint a week from the public about bad driving but there nothing we can do as its there word against the other!!!!!!!
So what the fuck were they doing there???
Personally I think the laguna bloke knew the coppers!!!

Any advice people??? Think anthing dodgy here???

does sound a wee bit dodgy to me id speak to a lawyer asap about it and see what they say
the way the judge might see it is that at the endo of the day you were speeding no matter what
the laguna driver is probably in the same lodge as the coppers

As you say though,you could write to the superintendant etc or police complaints commision... wont get your points knocked off though, just give the cops a grilling

i admitted the speeding there and then they showed me the fuckin video of it
stupid thing is there was this beat up old astraq van that WAS in front of me and he pulled away!!! they must of seen him! so why didnt they pull him???

cos they were wanting to nick me cos id pissed off there mate!!!!

 

I respect the fact that the laguna drive was paying due care and attention whilst writing down your numberplate

 

the car that tugged me was a brand new M3, with leather, satnav climate control air con!!!!! we the fuck do they need all that?????

All other issues aside, you were speeding. You got caught. Whats the problem?

 

never argued the speeding fine, just the reason for them to be waiting especially for me!!! if they were just doing spot checks on that road no problem, but what about the astra that must of gone passed em at some speed, my average was 75 so he must of been well over 90!!!

why didnt they nick him????

 

Modified car = easy target

Modified cars have a bad reputation. It only takes a couple of knobheads in burberry driving thier chaved corsa's up the town highstreet at 60mph to piss off the local police and get us all tarred wit the same brush.

 

I thought I might get abit of this today, was going round a roundabout at about 30mph when some twat in a new mazda 6 estate tries to get infront of me, he cut it so close I had to brake HARD!

Didn't think no more of it, pulled onto the dual carrigway acclerating, thought the guy was gonna take off the way he pulled out infront of me and he just sat there, as I was accelarting the C**t stuck his brakes on! Really fuckin winds me up when people do that, he starts giving it the big one infront of a car load of his, so I waited till he pulled over, whacked the middle finger up and chucked the car infront of him causing him to brake.

Had it have been a single carrigway road i'd have pulled the fooker over and showed him up infront of his Mrs, wouldnt have looked so big then!

End of the day mate, people are C**t's and you can't get away from it, thats life im afraid!

Yeah, like in Oxford when i got pulled for Paul's illegal black number plates on his FRS. The joke was that we passed about 5 cop cars on the way and none of them pulled us, but on the way back we got pulled by this one who said he'd been driving up and down the motorway all evening to pull 'one of us' as there was a local meet (that we were nothing to do with!!!!) he was a smarmy piece of work like he'd just caught a huge pike! So i also totally agree with the comment about mod cars attracting the cops. Luckily i wasn't speeding!!!!
