Quick piston/bore size question

Default Quick piston/bore size question

hi all
got some new standard compresion OE replacement YB
mahle pistons in +0.5mm . but the box didnt have a new Bore
size on it.
can anyone help me out please!?
whats the new finished bore size gotta be



wanna get it all across to the engine shop today if i can

I got a box of 0.5mm Mahles here, part number 0149101 , 91.325mm cylinder diameter is quoted on the box.

the numbers on mine are as follows in pics:
the second pic is date, but unsure of the other numbers?

Mine are Mahle replacement set, so no OE part numbers, but Piston is marked with diameter size 91.275

so the difference between Cylinder bore size quoted and piston size is 91.325-91.275=0.05mm

so you can get the machine shop to measure the pistons and apply the same clearance i guess if there is any difference

Brilliant mate thankyou!

just measured the skirt of my new pistons
and it is 91.275 mm as well (no surprise there lol)

M J engineering in westbury-leigh
i believe Cossiedave and SECS simon go there too

martin over there is a nice guy,, but VERY busy at the mo lol!
