anybody any clues as to why a cossie engine wont rev over 3.5rpm? feels like it doesnt have a turbo attached anymore. all hoses etc are in place and secure.

I had this problem with my 2wd, it was a bad connection on the crank sensor. Separted the connector (near the dizzy) cleaned it an filled it with WD40, good as new.

what car is it? if it is a 4x4 with a cat is the cat collapsed and blocking the exaust? what condition is the turbo in?
