What power for spec so far???

.63 i reckon then, won't make full advantage of the turbo unless you sack the greens and get something bigger and better...
I'm happy with mine (Mine runs 1.7BAR on ported head with greens and a t34 .48), would say makes 340bhp max........It's when the big bills come along when you goto upgrade 4wd transmission

Launching is what i do best.............................
Had the OE gearbox give up 1st time in 2004. Got told to purchase a 'Bernie' Gearbox man box which was slightly uprated....Seriously gave it death all the time and it was fine
(Done over 400 full bore 6500rpm+ bad boy launches)
Then decided to do my 1st track day and the 3rd gear synco buggered up mullering the 3rd gear cog so it's now broken on the driveway
Your not the only one so don't worry

I still think about 330 is what you'll get with the greens...... However, the strong mid range acceleration is down to the Torque, Not your bhp. And with that turbo, and greens, you can end up with a good torque curve.... Hence your very good mid range power.
Torque is sometimes better than outright BHP..... Without spending too much money, i'd check what size exhaust size is (.48 .55 or .63)..... With the .48, the turbo will spool up the quickest and give you the best acceleration at relatively low rpm, The .55 is a good mid range power and will keep to power slightly longer, and with the .63 you will loose the instant power and it will appear abit laggy, but will hold the power further up the rpm range. Personally......(Just my opinior), I'd go for the .63, a set of Greys (Easily Obtained on E-Bay and therefore cheaper than Blacks which are like gold dust on the second hand market, so you'd have to buy new.....hence the extra cost).... and a mapping session with one of the good guys, Karl, Stu...etc.
At the moment, I'd put a bet on that on someone like Nobles Rollers, you'll have within 5% of 330 bhp, and your torque will be within 5% of 300lbs of Torque.... As my previous engine was a very similar spec to yours.
Just don't launch it too hard, as your getting close to the limit for the 4 x 4 gearbox if your going to launch it hard, should be ok just sticking to your hard acceleration through the gears though.....2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. Just don't use all the power to launch it in 1st gear from standstill, otherwise you'll be spending all you money on new boxes and all your time fitting them....Lol.
At the spec you have, once fully mapped, I think it's probably one of the best conversions around (Value For Money) and even a hotted up Scooby or Evo will have a hard time sticking with you.
Good Luck
