Default saph oil problem

ive just rebuilt my saph 2wd cossie engine about 1000 miles ago and now the oil light is coming on, on tick over but if you rev it a little it goes off any ideas????

Did you use a new oil pump mate?

did you use a genuine oil pump?

the oil pump seemed ok so just used that 1 again.

is the oil light on all the time at idle?
or just when the car is hot?

well ill tell ye, reit
jut fitted a new turbo so primed thrbo wi oil then fired her up oil light was on at idal but went off so left it idelin then it cane back on after bout 2 - 3 mins but like a se ye rev it a bin and it goes off??

can you change the pump with out takin the engine out??
just looks a bit dogy with the steerin rack thats all????

no dought it mate every thing is brand new.
just found out that i can get the sump off wi out takin the engine out so just going to try a new oil pump!!!
any sugestions on wat to get, were from and wot sort of price??

Got a uprated 2wd pump from GGR about Ł80 i think

there is only one place to go mate

Cosworth direct, they have imroved the design of them in the latest lot
so it dont happen
you will find they are cheap too
