My suspension is getting worse, im sure - or im getting old.
It's just too bumpy, and crashes into pot holes. The stability is fine, and the grip, just the ride is bad. I'm on Monroe gas shocks, and -25mm Pi springs - which i think are probably the problem. The rear end is on it's arse, think the springs have collapsed. Now, do i try some other springs, or, maybe go for some Koni's on soft as well?

I've got pretty much exactly the same problem Rick. I run PI shocks and -25mm PI springs. TBH the ride is awful, one of the front shocks was fooked in under a year (with about 2K miles driving)
I think I am personally going to go for a set of Koni's and some decent springs. I've heard Eibach are supposed to be good?

i have monroe shocks, which ive been out in other cars, and the ride has been spot on. i think it's the pi springs that are shit. Eibach are meant to be good, yes, but in what way? Good for track? Or a good ride?

Christian runs Cobra springs. Manchester Mike has put them on his car with koni's. Ive been out in it, and it feels ok, but really need to drive it and see. Just around town/low speed.

- But it's one of the next things I want to sort on my car so interested on people's views. The general consensus from a thread I started last time is here: https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=129113

I used to have Eibach springs, changed em to Cobra though on Christian's advise - probably cos I paid for em
I would suggest NOT having poly shock top front mounts though, this is one of the many reasons the car CRASHES into tiny tiny holes you would not feel otherwise...
What about the Ford aftermarket kit sold at shows?

40 series
But, they are 215's so quite wide, they are no different from the std 195's ride wise - certainly a million times better than 17's.
Think i need to sack of these Pi(le of shit) springs. But what to go for? Eibach's, Jamex, chassis dynamics, spax, cobra's etc etc....
Got some new sensatracks in the cellar too.

Then get the sensatracs on first IMHO.
If you could disconnect the dampers and drive it down the road you would soon change your mind that the springs are too stiff lol
The sensortracs are also gas filled but the rebound will be better/fresher than on the old strut. Take one off and compare it (the rebound) side by side.
Or sit on a cushion
