i have an escort gti that has a problem with the idle, it reves up on its own, so i bought a icv as was told this would sort the problem. put on the bew icv today and it hasent made any differance, does anybody have anu idea wot the problem could be???

 

un plug the air mass meter see if that makes a differnce im sure i have seen this problem alot also the lambad sensor causes that

 

ok will try that, somboy said it might be the lamda sensor as it seems to be overfueling
