Anyone seen this? Christian Bale is absolutely superb in it and the storyline keeps you glued right till the end

Not sure about how he looks in it though...

 

aint seen it but i spotted it in the local video shop a few times and was wondering if it was any good,il check it out

 

You really have gotta watch it all the way through without any interuptions, theres a lot of bits where you think WTF? but it all comes good

 

not seen it but he did batman straight after and had to bulk up like crazy. credit to the guy, thats dedication

 

Yep great film watched it on Sky a few weeks ago

 

I couldn't believe it was the same bloke in Batman as The Machinist. There was nothing of him in that. I didn't make it to the end of the Machinist, I gave up about 3/4's thru. I was knackered and was finding it hard work. Is it worth seeing it through to the end?

 

yeah awesome film, like ones which make you think not the usual hollywood trash lol

He had to have paramedics on site while filming as he was SOOO weak during the filming due to his weight lose...........Talk about a Method actor

 

One of my favourite films.

Bale lost a record amount of weight to fit in for the part and the producers had to stop him from loosing any more out of concerns for his health. He bulked up like crazy for the batman audition and had to have medical attention from putting on weight too fast. Oddly enough he didn't suffer any ill effects when he lost weight.
