One of my favourite films.

Bale lost a record amount of weight to fit in for the part and the producers had to stop him from loosing any more out of concerns for his health. He bulked up like crazy for the batman audition and had to have medical attention from putting on weight too fast. Oddly enough he didn't suffer any ill effects when he lost weight.
