hi guys deperate in need of a set up i am thinking about a ahmed chip or a turbo systems one, but i was on the phone to falkland performance today and they said that you are better of getting the car mapped. i stay in kirkcaldy,fife im not really wanting to drive hundreds of miles to get it done, does anybody know anybody in my sort of area or the best thing to do to the car for the best result cheers

no mate it is just the standard management the now, falkland said they can put it on a dyno for the day and tweak everything and put a chip in to suit ? im not very sure i dont know very much about it cheers

chipped my mates car years ago and set it upto 18psi on std engine turbo,cooler,clutch was slippin like fuck and engine didn't last long

 

no where in scotland really does it.

only people in scotland i would trust to map my car would be alan at AVA.

they do it on the rollers

 

Jimmy I've used a lot of Scottish tuners over the years and have found AVA to be the best.

Everyones experiences with tuners will be different, diffferent tuners having their preferred methods of modifying/tuning/setting up your RS.

The RS's that I know of in Scotland that have been built/setup/modified at AVA do tend to be the fastest.

You wont be fed a load of bull as to what to expect power wise and your car will be set up to perfection.

All of the above said, its your car you choose who you feel is right for you.
