Sorry again for your loss mate. I got a phonecall today saying my dog Buster's ashes are ready to be collected as well. Totally know how you feel.. my house just isnt the same. Every time I come in i expect to have him run and jump up at me or when i get food i expect him to follow me around asking for some, everytime I hear a noise i think it's him. I miss him so much.. People who don't own dog's dont generally understand but it feels as though i've lost my best friend. It's bringing tears to my eyes typing this.. Hope you feel better soon.

Stuart.

Cheers mate, I don't think many people realise your loss. We didn't have kids, Bill was our little bloke. I thought I'd finished crying, guess I was wrong.

We are the same with our dog as he is family to us and not just a pet.

i know how you feel. we had our HARRY for 11 years(from a puppy) and i saw him get knocked over and killed. that was nearly 3 years ago now and i still feel gutted and miss him. he was treated as one of the family and was never given 2nd best. if it wasnt good enough for us or the kids then it wasnt good enough for him. they say times a great healer, but it doesnt replace. i always think of the good times and it makes me smile, then i get a bit down as i start thinking about that day and, what if? just be greatful that you have had the enjoyment and pleasure and the memories of mans best friend. (something alot of people never understand).

I now have 3 Shepherds buried in the orchard were they used to play. I still talk to them most days. On occassions I swear that I still see them sitting there.
