why not just get a new phone? Same model of course, and have someone at phone shop "bus" all your settings and info over to it... like a carbon copy if you like.....

Gotta be easy to get a new phone nowadays - probably get it free by doing an upgrade....

if on contract why not just have the phone "stolen" and get the insurance. obo before u get "mugged" send all stuff thats on phone to puter or another phone so u can transfer it back when new phone arrives

 

If he can get a screen for Ł30 why pay Ł50 policy excess on insurance?

 

And more to the point, i have no insurance.

 

Its time consuming as the phone is two parts, but it can be done.

Just need to watch out for any ribbon connections as they rip extremely easily and then you'll be needing a new phone
