Default a bit of help please....

ive got a 4x4 cossie that i bought as a runabout for myself.its started playing up in that sometimes it takes a long time to start, then splutters for a bit when you try to rev it up as if its holding back-then sometimes it will clear,or it will stay like that and when you try to drive it,it holds back on acceleration then pulls as it should-as if something is clearing.

ive changed the dist cap/rotor arm/leads.the phase sensor is in good cond.ive tried a map sensor, changed the blue temp sensor, fitted a new inlet man gasket, tried another coil and ign amp.

when it doesnt start it stinks of fuel as if its flooding, but there is a good spark there.

ive checked all the wiring and it all seems fine-would the crank sensor cause such a fault as i havent tried that yet.

its strange as it all seems to have happened since my lad fitted a breather kit to it last weekend, but i cant see anything disturbed/broken.
may be a coincidence.....to say its doing my head in is an understatement-

any ideas anyone........i thank you all in advence

oh yes its supposed to be stage 1 chipped, closed loop map by norris, but thats what i was told....

Poor connections in the Plugs on the bulkhead are common, strip and clean out, do NOT use some garbage like WD40, this will make them worse.

looking good, the plug with all the smaller wires has been held together with a cable tie and the connections look a bit dirty.seems to be running better now, just a bit lumpy on idle, but revs up freely.ill clean it properly and secure it and take it out for a run.....many thanks to everyone again-

this is the best, most helpful site i have ever used.well worth Ł20
