They were basically saying that although the organisers have claimed it not to be a race, people looking to participate are talking about power figures of their cars on various sites and so have a different view of what it is all about.

Whilst talking he held up a print out of a PF chatroom page with your sig near the top, no specific mention to the site or yourself was made and it was only a glimps of the page but felt it was worth a mention. More than likely they have tapped into a thread on the topic and printed a page off.

They said that they would be looking to cancel the event if the organisers couldn't convince them that it wasn't going to be a race.

Yeah some coppers round are way drive some sporty numbers and some poshy bikes to. They also now how to drive pretty well. But know they can be an ass also.
